Application:

Mission Information Collection Analysis and Reporting System (MICARS).

Purpose:

A repository of previous mission data to aid in future planning efforts.

Users:

F-16 pilots during mission debrief.

Environment:

PC-compatible laptop and Windows data base application.

Comments:

The MICARS application captures hundreds of pieces of data that together describe a F-16 mission in unique detail. The screen shown below allows the user, through a series of pull down menus, to designate the weapons that were carried during a mission. Other portions of the application allow the user to search for and prepare reports on missions with selected characteristics. The reports serve to aid in planning future missions of the same type.
