PersonnelWayne Walls is the owner and sole full-time employee at OACIS. Being a very small business has most often been an advantage. It allows OACIS to be responsive in ways that larger organizations can not. Nonetheless, should larger staffing requirements become necessary, OACIS has formed alliances with other organizations and individuals with appropriate areas of expertise. FacilitiesOACIS' facilities include the software, computer hardware, office equipment, and reference library required for the successful conduct of business and technical activities. Intel/Windows and Macintosh systems are used for rapid-prototyping, graphics development, statistical analysis, desktop publishing, and accounting. Secure WWW and FTP sites are maintained for easy transfer of information between OACIS and its clients. TermsI strongly encourage the preparation of a Statement of Work that clearly defines a project. This document then forms the foundation for a contract or purchase order that describes the obligations of each party. My services are normally billed at an hourly rate but may also be negotiated on a project basis. Invoices are sent every 30 days -- terms are NET 30. Travel and other direct costs (ODC) are billed at cost with no added burden.
